Interantional Shipping Notices

EU Shipping suspended until further notice due to GSPR
All orders outside of the UK may be subject to customs fees. This includes the USA, Canada, Australia and all other international countries. I am not responsible for these fees and they must be settled with the shipping provider who issued the fees to you. As always, it is recommended to purchase tracked shipping at checkout to avoid your parcel getting lost.

Standard shipping does not come with any form of tracking.

I am not responsible for any customs fees or additional charges added to your parcel during and / or after shipping. Customs fees may be added to any order outside of the UK.

Shipping costs - Shipping costs vary depending on the country, preferred method of shipping and the size and weight of the item. All orders are shipped from the UK via the Royal Mail. Below are estimated for shipping costs. Shipping times are estimates provided by Royal Mail, given there are no delays. Each has a range based on parcel size and weight. Prices may change at any time. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Standard shipping does not come with any tracking numbers. Please email if you have any questions or concerns as soon as possible after purchase.

The item(s) will only be shipped once payment has completed and has been received in full. Orders are usually shipped once per week. Most orders are shipped from the UK via Royal Mail. Some larger orders such as Fursuits may be shipped via other companies such as DPD. I am not responsible for the order once it has been passed over to the postal service. If you have chosen a shipping method that does not include full insurance or tracking, you could be responsible for paying for a replacement or not receive a refund should anything happen during transit.

I will ship to the address given and if the parcel is returned to me after failed delivery, you will be contacted regarding what to do next. You will be expected to pay for redelivery if the address given at the time of purchase was incorrect.

Returns / Refunds - If there is a problem with your order, you will be required to send me a detailed description of the issue and pictures if necessary. From there I will offer appropriate solutions to your problem. This is usually either a refund or replacement. If there is no fault, you may still receive a refund if the item is returned to me and is in the same condition it was in when it left me (new, no damages). You will be required to pay for return delivery and once the item(s) have been inspected, you may receive a refund for the value of the item(s) and not for the original or return postage costs.

Packaging

I try to keep my packaging as discrete as possible while still being identifiable. My store name “Bats Boutique” is written in small on the front of the parcel as a return address. This is required by law. I also add an “express bat post” decorative stamp to the front of all parcels shipped in white carton boxes (small to medium parcels). If you are purchasing 18+ items, there will be no obvious markings on the outside of the package to show this.

For UK shipping - no customs label (CN22) is needed so there is no indication of what is inside the package. I do add a “express bat post” decorative stamp to the front of all parcels shipped in white carton boxes (small to medium parcels).

For international shipping - A customs label (CN22) is needed. "Costume" is usually written on the label as the description of the item. This may read differently for some products. The weight and value of the item is also given on this label. I am required to provide this label and information by law. I cannot remove it. I also add an “express bat post” decorative stamp to the front of all parcels shipped in white carton boxes (small to medium parcels).

Eco Friendly - I always strive to make my packaging as eco-friendly as possible. I dispatch as many orders together as possible to reduce my carbon footprint which is why I typically post once per week. All tissue paper is acid free and boxes, twine, paper, labels, packing tape and cards are all recyclable. Recycled materials are sometimes used in packaging such as packing paper, bubble wrap or protective plastic bags in the case of fursuits.
